  Their menu is a little different than the Bay Area locations I have been to. I didn't see the veggie I usually order, so I gravitated to the one with jalapenos, the P-town.  Service was fantastic, they had multiple sandwich makers and a separate woman taking down the orders and someone dedicated as cashier. Had my sandwich and was out the door in a flash.  
  
  The sandwich I ordered was packed full of quality ingredients and was really tasty. It was so big, I had to save some for later.  Great sandwich spot, doing it right!

  I am feeling mixed emotions about this place. The folks are always super pleasant. (All four times I have been in a Mr.Pickles) My challenge is the fact that two times now I have had sandwiches that made me happier then a  in slop. But then there are the other two times. And the worst part is, those two times were the times that came after the amazing times so it made me have the cravings to go back. Ugh not cool right? Sad day. This latest time I got a meatball sammy for my son who was quite pleased. But his opinion does not say much since he thinks Subway is gourmet...hmmm..but maybe it is because I tried to get a veggie sammy? First they were out of sourdough. That was a bummer. And it was the middle of the day? What? And second the bread seemed old and that ruined the entire sammy for me. The worst right? They are not known for their veggie/vegan options so I guess that is my bad.  I just thought, how difficult is to do a bunch of veggies on bread with sauce? Guess what? If the bread is not fresh, it's all . So if it were the service, they would get all 5 s from me because they smile, respond quick to customers and are very engaging without dawdling to long. It is just that when the sandwhich IS your shtick. Well then everything about it should be awesome, and that includes the bread. Am I wrong? Anyhow. I will try again.

  I can't count the number of times I've ate at Mr. Pickles, but this is my first review here on Yelp. I used to come here all the time in high school to enjoy a sandwich at lunch time. There is plenty of parking at this location, and the lines usually go by fairly fast, which made this the ideal spot for all the high schoolers ;)
  
  Unfortunately I have found that the sandwich quality can be somewhat inconsistent. Often, my sandwich will be well-toasted and perfectly made. Other times however, like on my most recent visit, the bread will be a little soggy and the sandwich will be a bit cold overall. Your experience really depends on who is preparing your sandwich at the time. However, I am almost always pleased with the outcome.
  
  I ordered The Mustang, which comes with my favorite sauce: CRANBERRY. I think it adds a great bit of tang to the sandwich. I always ask for every topping available, so my sandwich is always loaded with flavor.
  
  I find the sandwiches at Mr. Pickles to be a bit expensive for the quality, but considering that it is a franchise, I can understand the decision.
  
  Overall, I would definitely recommend coming to Mr. Pickles for a nice lunchtime sandwich!

  On June 29th (Saturday) at around just before 1pm. My wife called to order sandwiches to go. We have been to this location many times and had a great experience. Unfortunately, this was a much worse experience. My wife was attempting to order a sandwich for me. I didn't know the number of the sandwich I liked, so she began telling the woman on the phone that I wanted chicken, with BBQ sauce, and before my wife could finish the woman said "You want a 17."  My wife said I don't know what a 17 is but we want a sandwich with....the woman again interrupted and said you want a 17. My wife said I don't know what is on a 17, all we want is a sandwich with...the woman on the phone then said "oh my god..." and huffed on the phone at my wife. My wife then said never mind we will just come and order them in person. My wife dropped me off to go order and when I walked in the woman was talking about my wife in the back of the store, loud enough for anyone to hear. She continued to make jokes about me wife and once she walked out from the back she was still talking to her coworkers about my wife. I eventually stepped up to the counter and let the woman know that it was my wife she was talking about and that she didn't need
  to continue talking about her. The woman simply starred at me and went back to working. No apology, nothing. It worries me that this is the type of customer service that is acceptable here now.

  Guys, the Gone Golfing is amazing. Especially when you get it on a Dutch crunch. Anytime I'm in Petaluma, I will always make my way over here. The portions are good and the service is always quick. I would totally recommend this place. This place is just such a good sandwich spot and it actually has good quality sandwiches.
